Rosanne Russell

Owner, Move2Joy Yoga & Nia Studio

What you should know about me is that I absolutely love sharing the Joy of Movement and helping people feel better in their bodies and lives. I have been a somatic movement professional since 2000 and specialize in Yoga, Nia® (mind-body dance) and body-centered wellness. 

My passion is not only for teaching but for my own learning as well. I am never bored with knowledge and am always excited to share it with my students. 

In addition to my movement expertise, I am a visual artist and graphic designer. Which is why you will find my classes to be a balance of technique, skill, creativity and innovaton. 

And, most of all, fun.

Meg Mahnks

Yoga Instructor, 200-YTT

Hello, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Meg and I have two beautiful children, Danny and Fiona who are the loves of my life.

I have been working as an oncology nurse at MGH since 2005 which brings me great pride. 

I first started practicing yoga when I became a nurse. The practice felt like a gift, a life tool to help me both on and off the mat. My love for yoga sparked something inside of me and I knew I wanted to be a yoga instructor someday. Teaching helps me give back to the community and to help others learn how yoga can help them as it does me. 

With my kids both in school full time, I gave myself the gift of yoga teacher training. Once I completed my training, the stars aligned and I met Rosanne. She believed in me and became the most wonderful mentor.

I love learning, practicing and teaching at Move2Joy. Rosanne has created such a beautiful community and I feel so lucky to be a part of it.
